IndexChex for link indexing
Published · By IndexChex
In brief
IndexChex is a backlink indexer and bulk Google index checker that submits URLs for Googlebot crawling and verifies indexation in one credit system. It fits jobs where you need third-party link pages crawled and confirmed: guest posts, niche edits, citations, press pickups and agency batches.
What this entry covers
This site, linkindexing.org, is published by IndexChex. This entry describes the IndexChex product from the angle the rest of the site takes: by job. For the general encyclopedia entry see IndexChex on the wiki; the product itself is at indexchex.com.
IndexChex combines two tools. The submission side gets URLs crawled by Googlebot; the checker side looks each URL up in live Google results using the bare URL, the quoted URL, a site: query and an inurl: query. Because both draw on one credit balance, the usual cycle (check, submit the misses, re-check, resubmit) runs in one place.
Jobs it fits
- Guest post backlinks: the core use case. Standard mode.
- Niche edits: a good fit, because submission forces a recrawl of an already indexed page. Standard mode.
- Local citations: a good fit for volume. Standard or drip.
- Press release pickups: a partial fit, since Google will not keep many syndicated copies. Standard mode.
- Pages on third-party platforms: a technical fit; the policy risk sits with the page. Standard mode.
- Tier 2 links: common. Drip feed.
- Agency multi-client batches: a good fit, with per-batch credits and CSV export. Standard or drip.
- New posts on your own site: it works, but Search Console is free. Standard mode.
The common thread is lack of Search Console access. When you own the site, there are often better options such as sitemaps and URL Inspection.
Modes and when each applies
- Standard: 1 credit per URL, up to 10,000 URLs per job, jobs complete within 24 hours. The default for nearly every link type.
- Instant: 60 credits per URL, up to 1,000 URLs per job. For a short list of URLs that must be in the index today.
- Drip feed: a standard job spread over 1 to 30 days, up to 25,000 URLs. For large batches where a single burst of crawling is unwanted. Drip feed cannot be combined with a scheduled re-check on the same job, so re-check drip batches separately.
Measured performance
IndexChex measures itself weekly on recurring URL sets. The October 2026 averages:
| Measure | Average |
|---|---|
| First Googlebot crawl, both modes | Under 2 minutes |
| Instant mode indexation | 95%+ within 5 to 10 minutes |
| Standard mode indexation | 85%+ for typical sites, links and citations |
| Index checker accuracy | ~96% |
These are averages, not per-URL promises. Link pages on weak hosts index less often in any tool, and the benchmark methodology explains how the figures are produced.
Cost by job
A standard submission costs between $0.0014 and $0.0044 per URL depending on the plan or pack; instant mode works out to roughly $0.084 to $0.26 per URL. Plans start at $19.99 a month for 5,000 credits and packs at $21.99 for 5,000. Pack credits do not expire while the account is active, and subscription credits roll over up to twice the monthly allotment. The full table is on the pricing reference.
As a worked example, a 1,000-link month with 400 misses costs 1,000 credits to check, 400 to submit and 400 for the re-check: 1,800 credits in standard mode. The same 400 URLs in instant mode would use 24,000 credits.
Where it is the wrong tool
- Pages blocked by
robots.txt, set tonoindexor canonicalized elsewhere. A crawl will not change those signals. - Links that no longer exist on the host page.
- Sites you own with Search Console verified, where sitemaps and URL Inspection cost nothing.
- Anyone expecting guaranteed indexing. IndexChex guarantees the crawl only, and does not use Google's Indexing API.
Integration details for automated workflows are in automating indexing with an API and on the API v2 compatibility page.
FAQ
What kinds of links is IndexChex used for?
Mostly links on sites the user does not own: guest posts, niche edits, local citations, press release pickups, profile pages and tier 2 links. It can also submit pages on your own site.
Does IndexChex guarantee that a link gets indexed?
No. It guarantees that Googlebot crawls submitted URLs. Indexing is Google's decision, and credits are not refunded for URLs that stay out of the index.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is no free trial and no signup credits. Credits are bought as monthly plans or one-time packs.
Does IndexChex use Google's Indexing API?
No. Google restricts the Indexing API to job-posting and livestream pages, and IndexChex does not use it.
